Strictly Pride and Prejudice.

Post  TANGOLERO on Sun Aug 03, 2014 8:28 pm

I know Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice inside out and back to front, and never get tired of discussing it. Unfortunately most forums on the topic are either out of date or run by know-all, cliqueish American ladies with over-tight corsets and a penchant for the views of nine-year-old's, and moderators very far into themselves who think that a visit to Austen's cottage and cramming themselves into fancy dress makes them world experts on all things Regency. . My somewhat forthright views on such have caused me to retire from the main ballroom ( a step ahead of a ban probably) with all the joviality and directness of old Darcy himself.

There, I've said it. Now, anyone interested in a no-holds-barred discussion on life at Longbourne?  Twisted Evil

Why Mr Darcey pray what do you mean! An all holds barrs discussion on P&P!
One shall of course give it some consideration and thought. Btw I have not visited Jane Austen's house! Very Happy

Ooh sounds devine! A glass of sherry and some mince pies won't go amiss! I do have the dvd set just the trouble of changing the disc over such work.
