Yellow is very hard to see unless its on a dark blue background.  PLEASE change the text back to blue. I can't read the screen properly affraid

Neither can I -  I did manage to increase the size of the letters by increasing the zoom level but then I couldn't see the emoticons Sad

Is it worth getting rid of the 'Get a room' slot that no ones used in years and the 2010/2011 posts?

Not keen on the scrolling up circles.
It reminds me of the aura I get just before a migraine. I can see it constantly flickering in the corner of my eye. Any new emotions? A different coloured circle against active threads would be useful so you can go to the action straight away?

I do think that we should remember that this is a free forum (so limited choice of display options) administrated by a volunteer, who was a fan of the show and who stepped in to try to replace the BBC message board when it was scrapped at short notice. No doubt he/she has a job/family/other responsibilities but a few years on he/she is still making an effort to keep the place available to us and clean and tidy. I have to be honest, I suspect it's quite a hard job to keep lots of different users on lots of different viewing formats all happy. I have rubbish eyesight and a rubbish phone that I mostly browse from but I find the changes fine. (I say this only to illustrate the point that different laptops/tablets/phones/PCs make things very different for all users and not because I think my view should counteract someone else's).

Apologies if I have ruffled any feathers.I love you

Of course I appreciate all the hard work done by the forum hosts. I think they do a brilliant job, with as you have rightly pointed out very little thanks. I will as always be happy to go with the majority vote. I thought we were being asked our opinions on the recent changes, but obviously got it wrong. (slinks away in disgrace.........) Mad .

You opinion is always valuable. I'm not going to change the colour as yet as it's always a personal thing,; if there's genuine difficulty in reading it then of course I will make changes.

ARchiving - well that hasn't worked. Or rather it has. A bit. Hmmmmmm.

Thanks for the reply, and I do  appreciate all your hard work.  I find the small pale text against a pale background difficult to see, but I understand that you have to go with the majority. sunny

I tend to go with what I like . . . but if that makes it unusable for members then I will of course change it. I like the overall look and feel of this 'skin' but I will see if I can tweak the text to make it more readable on all screens.

Like I said, I like the new look forum. I also like that you have an android version for my phone and tablet. One thing I haven't worked out yet though is how to do "quotes" in this version. Help please.
