Tickets for the Final - Whoooh! Any advice

Have just received E-mail to say i've got tickets for the 17th at Blackpool - can't believe it

Anybody been to the final want to offer any advice - would be appreciated.

I've been to the Saturday show at Television Centre and from what I can remember here are a couple of points:

Get in the queue early, so you get some good seats. It was a case of first come, first served when we went. If you were too far behind in the queue you didn't get in. This may not be the case at Blackpool.

Presumably you're going with someone, when you come out, one queue for the coats and one queue for the mobile phones, you'll get out quicker that way.

Will try and think of some other pointers which may be of use. Have a great time!

I've never been lucky enough to go so I can't give any useful advice except- ENJOY!!!!! lucky lucky you! Give extra big cheer on behalf of all the exiles!

Am off out tomorrow to try an find suitable "smart/glamorous" outfit for the final! Any advice as to how to look "glamorous" after spending a couple of hours queing appreciated

I really can't believe this is happening. Everytime Zoe mentions going off to Blackpool, I can't help shouting at the t.v. - me too!!!

Wide leg, flat fronted long trousers(not linen given the standing/sitting), a sparkly shortish sleeved top with a lovely long sleeved top/jacket, if you can wear heels for that long you're a stronger ankled woman than me! Never done Strictly but did do Graham Norton's years ago, same rules apply I think, comfort and style required!

I think an umbrella is a must, in case of rain which would ruin your look. You could also take a collapsible chair if you've got a very light one, which you'll have to hand in with your coat. Look forward to reading all about it!

Spooky Salsarae are you physic? That's exactly what I've gone for. Thanks Lucielle, have found a small chair that will travel well (or end up in a bin in Blackpool) plus a couple of "disney" type waterproofs, which should cover all the elements can throw at us!

As you can imagine, I'm v.excited and boring everyone I meet, with "guess where I'm going on Saturday" routine

Loved the semi and have been really good this week and not peeped at the result. Don't mind who I see. xxxxxx
