And I hate to rain on their parade but can somebody teach Aliona what a showdance should look like, didn't like her effort either this year or last (minor point though, didn't detract from a great final)

Oh my.........The Strictly Tour? They have finally announced the professionals.......Artem is to partner Nancy Delalio........I predict tickets will be sold out within 10 minutes. The mind boggles!

(I don't know which of them to feel the most sorry for! )

I noticed that the adverts for the tour have never shown who the professionals are, but knew from the news that James G. was 'out' when he put it out on twitter that his services were no longer required ('no-one is bigger than the show' apparently). I think James opened his mouth once too often for CRH (who is, after all, the Director on the tour).

That makes me wonder who will be partnering Robbie Savage - I presume O la is out?

Katya is partnering Robbie Savage..........and you felt sorry for Nancy and Artem. CRH likes Artem and his choreographic innovations. I think this is behind the pairing with Nancy.

Mmmmm... don't know how Katya will go down with Robbie Savage. Think Ol a had the right mix of martinet and mentor for him.

I suppose it could have been worse for Artem - he could have got Edwina in the main series - at least he has happy memories of the main show.

I have a sneaky feeling Nancy might actually blossom under Artem's firmer tutelage (I actually felt that A nton let her down and played too much to the comedic element ).. But time (and their performance on tour) will tell!
