Eliminated Couple's Remaining Dances

Am getting quite stressy now that I'm not going to get to see Pamela's AT if she is eliminated first (as the bookies and DS all seem to expect). I think I understand that the eliminated couple still gets to do their show dance for fun (bag of laughs that is no doubt - I haven't seen any 3 person finals before because I only started watching last year but I can't see the point in elminating one couple before the show dance - anyway, back to the point ...) but Pammie seemed to suggest on ITT last night that she only gets to do her AT if she gets through the elimination.

Her AT training footage looked really good. I so want to see it.

Anyway it seems a bit harsh making them all learn 4 dances but only letting one couple perform a couple of them. Does anyone know the thinking behind the early elimination? And does anyone know if I'm right in thinking the eliminated couple does get to perform the showdance but not their remaining dance?

I wondered about that too Littlebear - she did say she'd only get the chance to do the AT if she gets through to the second half. I'd much prefer to see a 'new' dance rather than a repeat of an old routine. I can't remember what happens re. the showdance. Anybody?

Brendan and Lisa danced their show dance AFTER they had been eliminated (but it was so awful I wished they hadn't).

Did Zoe and Ian do their show dance after being eliminated?
Perhaps they use it as a filler while others are getting changed or while votes are counted.

Yes, Zoe and Ian did theirs as well (after elimination). It was when Ian fell over.

Me too, I really liked that pairing but it wasn't good!!

Does not seem right that one of the first two dances is not a new one. Makes it very unfair to do all that training only to miss out.

They're running pretty much on adrenaline by now. Part of them will be quite relieved that it's all over although gutted not to have won.

Don't know if this is reliable or not.

Thanks GC - hope it is reliable as I'd like to think we get to see at least one new dance before the lines open - show dance should do it.
