Really Good Show Tonight!
Some really fantastic performances - Kara + Blimey how many people turned this gig down then ? were technically superb - Matt produced the best male Rumba this series - Pamela's routine was amusing and back to her best and the orange one showed some true enjoyment and fun, plus some good footwork in his quickstep.
The performance that stands out to me though was Zsa Zsa Gabor 's - great choreography, great fun and danced with a real love of just being there and having a great time.
Of the others - they can all go as far as I'm concerned. Watching Felicity makes me feel uncomfortable, watching Long legs do not make me loveable is like watching the Grand prix just waiting for the crashes and sex on legs is getting boring.

I'll agree with all of that but I would like a couple of incidents in the grand prix if thats ok.

Grand Prix incidents can add to the excitement - but all that going round and round and round and round beforehand gets boring
Bit like sex on legs's exchanges with the Judges now

That I didn't miss Jimi as much as I thought I would was testament to how good tonights show was!
Some phenomenal dancing from Kara and S.cott, and P.atsy goes from strength to strength.
My only quibble is that G.avin was grossly overmarked. He should have been below P.atsy & P.amela on the table and joint with M.ichelle.

Oh, I wouldn't go quite that far Sid, though I agree he was overmarked. I'd have put Pat$y ahead of both Pamela and G.avin tonight. Some really good choreography from Robin in that routine, I thought - surprising for me because I usually find the Viennese Waltz as dull as... an uneventful grand prix.

Agree Kate - P atsy should've scored higher (and as for the two 9s for Gav....no way)
An uneventful grand prix?? I watch them all, never seen a boring one. It's not about crashes...it's all the tactics of blocking, drivers in support roles, tyre choices.....ah well, we can't all like the same things!

A great show, I agree, but surely S.cott and Natalie's Jive was as good as Jill Halfpenny and Darren's one. Jill and Darren got 4 tens didn't they? I thought S.cott and Natalie deserved them too.

Kara - wow
Sssscottt - double wow
Pamela - good but (IMO) over-marked, yet again. Are the judges in awe of The Big Yin or something?!
Agree, fantastic show, no idea who might not make it to Blackpool...

I'd go along with that too, Sid - G.avin overmarked.
Oddly, I didn't think S.cott's dance deserved the 10's. Sure, there was a huge part of it that was right on the money but there were a couple of sections in between (when he was getting from here to there) where it was very odd.
I thought K.ara was best overall (one of the best AT's ever) and would have put S.cott and P.atsy joint second.

...agree G.avin overmarked.....maybe the judges think he may throw his toys if they dont mark him up.
Kara definately the best IMO......S.cott great yes but thought Kara deserved to be top not S.cott......far superior dance......

I thought they were both fantastic dances fantastically performed and I've watched them both several times now, but Natalie's choreography made the jive much more thrilling, much more dramatic. The Love God that is Leonard The Lion Goodman's comment about living on the edge was probably true of both dances, but Nat's wonderful storytelling on top of great dancing, made the jive deserve to be top IMO!

I have to admit that Nat is really growing on me. In the last two series, Nat has shown to be one of the most creative choreographers. She really pushes the sleb, and I agreed with The Love God that is Leonard The Lion Goodman about living on the edge. Nat will take a chance, it could all go horribly wrong, or it could be a SCD highlight like last night. Saying that, I would like to see how she would be with a weaker sleb, as she has been blessed with two fantastic dancers

Personally, for all round effect and entertainment, I'd rank S'cott's Jive higher than Jill Ha'penny's.
Thought Zsa Zsa Gabor 's dance was really moving and well choreographed, but technically not brilliant. Better than G.avin for sure though and on a par with Pamela.
Seen more intense and more precise AT's than Kara's in the past - not really snappy enough for my taste.
S.cott
Kara
Matt
Pamela/P.atsy
G.avin
That would have been my top 5 in order - score wise
And very few tricks/lifts/cheats needed either
