Can we really not have Aliona or O.la? You won't believe it but they along with Natalie were my favourites! And I think these auditions are rather heavily weighted towards the male dancers/celebrities don't y'know! I would suggest you include a few ladies. Nat (though she'll be very busy - maybe she could job share with Oti.), Then there's wee Georgia May Foote, Zoe Ball and Jodie Kidd! I think there's some fun to be had there. Very Happy

Mmmmmi see your point

Louise and Georgia could job share

Phil Spencer cos I like his cheeky manner and Mrs All sop

I'm a fan of Clare Balding and Gabby (If she brings the hubby in a kilt great)

As of late on Thursday night (just gone) I am a resident of Scotland once more after a two year exile. Looking forward to the new Strictly series.

Hello loungers! Glad we're back in action Smile
It's nice to just have a general chat- was reading a few earlier posts and saw my one about Woody. Sadly he died over the summer, but he gave us nearly 2 more years than we thought possible, and he was full of life right to the end . Once the medication kicked in he was his usual mad springer self, and on the day he died he had been for walkies and swimming in the sea, his favourite things. There was no deterioration or sign that it was imminent. He just collapsed at home and was gone. What a way to go, it was just as I would have wanted, and we didn't have to make that awful decision. I feel so blessed to have had him, and so grateful that he lived a full life till the end, but still so sad that his time with us was too short.

CC you are a true CC again! cheers you are in charge of the tartan!

Sad to hear of Woody's passing however glad you have good memories. I'm sure Zoe will give us Lil snippets to chat about. The evenings are drawing in and too soon for me to put ch on! I put a jumper 9n the other morning and still felt too hot for it... I'll grab a long island tea as I need it for medicinal purposes, have a mega woman cold!

Hello Everyone!

Well, tonight is the true start - people start leaving.

I have Daisy and Judge in the sweepstake at work - my girl did good last week, hope she can be another Abby...

Hope everyone is well and happy - let's have a really good Strictly season.  You know Autumn is here when the sequins come out...

Enjoy tonight's show.

Hey Vonee! *waves* I think you've got a good one in the sweepstake unlike me- I thought I might have a dark horse until he danced- or rather didn't- last week ; I've got Melvyn! Crying or Very sad
Love strictly weekends- Saturday night obvs, then results and Poldark- happy days!

You picked two good ones there vonee21. They stand a good chance of getting to the final weeks. I'm looking forward to the first weekend too. I wonder who will be the first to leave? Will it be the obvious - Ed Balls, or the less obvious - Lesley Joseph, or someone completely different? After the first couple of weeks it's going to get very hard to decide who is likely to go. They're all so good.

Voted Ed, Greg and the Judge..... Loved loved Louise's dance for the whole effect. Cheek and fun a tie for Tameka and Ed.

Ed,Greg and Tameka for me - I couldn't stop smiling at Ed's routine
Personally I think it should be Melvyn to go even though he's mine - I don't think there was much improvement there but Ed actually did keep in time throughout and sold the dance- never thought I'd be sticking up for a politician affraid
