Jared - Wet or just wet behind the ears?
I'm still trying to work him out. When he's dancing, I see a boy, not a man. His ITT appearance last night - where he tried to answer frivolous questions with a straight face - revealed an inexperienced (and potentially combustible) mix of sincerity and tactlessness. I haven't really been paying that much attention to his interviews but my overall impression is that he's still at that keen-to-please stage.
We need to see a darker side, please. Something that draws him closer to the other male pros.

Well I most certainly have of late and I like it. Oh you mean Jared?
He's wholesome, shiny and well shiny. I haven't liked his dancing so far, agree he is tactless and think his contract will not be renewed next year.

Isn't he here on the back of the success of High Street Musical? To attract the tweenies? Not surprising us non-tweenies haven't taken to him then I suppose.

(((Fifty))) Too logical for me. It implies that the Strictly Marketing Team have their act together - a theory I can brush aside with just one word.

I just think he needs to bloom! I do feel thou BBC are trying to jump on the band wagon of teen musicals etc! Jared 's choreography lacks a maturity the others have gained from dancing the boards for years!
I think he will also be a one hit wonder

Strictly isn't primarily a teenage show so why try to please them by bringing in a high school kid.
I'm sure he's a lovely lad and a great dancer (in his genre) but give him a chance to grow up first before pitching him in with so many older pros and celebs

Can anyone imagine how he would be with someone in their 30's or early 40's

He is such a sweet mannn...
He just needs to find his feet, and I doubt the comments flying around the blogs are helping, he is trying. Maybe the BBC chucked him in the deep end...

It's a shame Tina was poorly because it looked like Jared had put together a pretty decent Rumba for them. It could have been the dance to make the statement that he'd arrived.
I'm surprised he was hired though. He comes across as a bit uncertain and inexperienced. He's no Ian or Matt that's for sure.

Yeah I thought that. It looked lke a much more promising routine from that glimpse on ITT.

Apologies to everyone who read my earllier post.....Jared is working with Tina up in Manchester ALL BY HIMSELF away from the other male pros. He is not got any opportunities to bond with the group or get any hints about how to get on. When Brian joined the show, James took him in hand.
