Wonderful, Fantastic, Joyful Things

Post  hatlady28 on Thu Sep 30, 2010 4:38 pm

Last year when things got a bit grim on the boards, a thoroughly nice positive thread was started, a place to go to read happy things. So, in preparation for any opening salvos......I wanted to get this thread started:

The first wonderful thing: This site of course! The Strictly BBC Exiles under the generous rule of magical Creature of beauty and wonderment and mysterious numbers where there are great avatars, no 3 minute rule and NO BEDTIME.

I have a wonderful thing - we (me, BF, my sister and her husband) are taking my dad and my step-mum to the Johnny Cash Roadshow for my dad's birthday Very Happy I've never seen a tribute band and my dad loves Johnny Cash so I'm excited about it.

Inanna, I realise that you are supreme BUT given that Creature of beauty and wonderment avatar is Hermione Granger, magical seemed applicable.

Ah - be careful. I've heard sitting down for too long can give you a burning ring of fire.

I like a bit of Johnny Cash so I'll put a re-run of a SCD Cash tribute on the song thread for you.
